North Vancouver is situated across the Burrard Inlet from the city of Vancouver and is nestled at the base of the North Shore mountains in BC’s Lower Mainland. To the west is the Capilano River, and to the east is the Indian Arm. The population of the North Vancouver district sits at just under 90,000 people. This is made up of largely middle-class families living in single-family homes and approximately 30% of the population are 55+.
